Build and scale reliable Ruby/Rails backend services and APIs. Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, migrations, partitioning, and connection pooling. Develop high-performance, fault-tolerant systems capable of handling high traffic and concurrent workloads. Own system design, performance tuning, observability, testing, and CI/CD best practices. Collaborate with Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to engineering standards. Blockchain/Web3 experience is a plus, particularly smart contracts, event indexing, transaction ledgers, or blockchain data pipelines.
